Comparison of dynamic mechanical properties of non-superheated and superheated A357 alloys

چکیده

The influence of superheat treatment on the microstructure and dynamic mechanical properties A357 alloys has been investigated. study was performed by optical microscope. Dynamic (storage modulus, loss damping capacity) were measured analyzer (DMA). Microstructure showed coarser angular eutectic Si particles with larger {\alpha}-Al dendrites in non-superheated alloy. In contrast, finer rounded together smaller preferred oriented have observed superheated an increasing trend modulus capacity meanwhile a decreasing storage at elevated temperatures for alloys. high ascribed to grain boundary temperatures.
